What UHQCD actually changes

The UHQCD format is a revolutionary high-fidelity audio compact disc that offers superior sound quality compared to standard CDs. Developed by the Japanese company Memory-Tech, UHQCDs utilize a high-fluidity photopolymer that better molds into the stamper, forming more accurate pits.

This results in a smoother and more natural sound presentation, with subtle improvements in stereo image, treble, and dynamic nuance.

UHQCDs are compatible with any standard CD player and follow the Red Book standard, ensuring universal playability. The format does not introduce a new digital format; it is the physical refinement of the disc that enhances the sonic performance.
