MJR Announces Two Early Summer Releases!

This summer marks still more new directions for MoonJune Records. Showcased by the premier of one exciting new band and the international christening of another Indonesian jazz guitar virtuoso, these two vital releases mark the start of a smokin' summer seaon. MoonJune is pleased to offer two powerful new albums, slated for release in early June. First is the self-titled debut from the newly-formed Belgium group, SH.TG.N, led by The Wrong Object's keyboardist, Antoine Guenet. They are described as "a very young psycho-avant metal-jazz rock-in-opposition band with attitude." ... Holdsworth Embarks on European Leg of 2012 World Tour

		Fresh on the heels of a series of highly-acclaimed US performances, the comeback of progressive guitar legend and MJR recording artist Allan Holdsworth stayed right in stride with the commencement of the European leg of his world tour in Berlin, on May 4th. A host of European dates are scheduled for this month with many more to follow. There have been a number of exciting clips of recent performances on YouTube uploaded, as the rave reviews continue to pour in. The legendary icon and his stellar band have been in exceptionally fine form, making for some memorable concert experiences for the legions of his worldwide fans. Allan Holdsworth 2012 Tour Commences

Supported by a stellar cast featuring jazz legend, bassist Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets; Holdsworth / Pasqua / Haslip / Wackerman Band) and the Aussie sensation Virgil Donati (Planet X; CAB) on drums, Allan Holdsworth resumed his sonic assault on the music world this past January in sparkling fashion. Allan will be playing to packed houses all over the US over the next few months, after which time he embarks on the European leg of the tour.
