It all happened in Hoboken, New Jersey, in November 2008, when Copernicus gathered together an enormous cast of improvising musicians and booked a session dedicated to existential immersion (or possibly non-existential). The session's first wave led to the release of Disappearance in 2010. Now, his attention is turned to a second phase of that recording date -- responding to improvisations that took on a different shape, making yet another twist, exposing still another nature.
